Chouchan is a multi-disciplinary artist, a therapist, and the author of "Weaving a Wildflower". Weaving words and stories have become her gateway for healing and finding her voice. In her book, Chouchan explores her broken bond with her mother and all the ways it had impacted her life and her identity.
She writes to hold those places in her story that have not been held with love and acceptance. Stories are here because they need a voice, they are here to validate, to repair the broken places and to be witnessed through it all. The wound heals as it is revealed. She believes that pain is here for a purpose and that is to free us, and for that, it needs to be fully held, channeled, and guided where it needs to go.
